Harvest Dinner on the Old Bridge in Downtown Lake Chelan

In September of 2019, the first annual Harvest Moon Dinner took place on the old bridge in downtown Lake Chelan. The bridge itself was closed for the day and vendors from all across the valley helped contribute to this spectacular evening that included wine tasting, a four-course dinner with wine pairings, dessert, and a live auction with auctioneer.

We called Chelan “home” for nearly a decade and these faces are the heartbeat of this small tourist-town. They are the people that pour your wine when you visit for the weekend and feed you delicious food as you soak up the 52-mile long, glacial, body of water this is Lake Chelan.

Erin McCardle, director of the Historic Downtown Chelan Association, is the brains behind this fabulous event. She is well-known throughout the community and recruited the perfect pairing of wine makers and chefs for the first ever Harvest Dinner. This blog post is hefty in length because it’s hefty in heart. Enjoy!

Executive Director of Historic Downtown Chelan Association, Erin McCardle:

I have been running events for over 20 years. From corporate product launches at Microsoft to large community festivals. Megan was above and beyond what I could have ever dreamed to capture the spirit of my event. Her sense of WHAT to capture, WHO to capture, and HOW to capture is unreal. 5 STARS are not enough.
